8mm cine film

Those grainy films tucked away in a corner of the attic might contain footage of your children on their Chopper bikes; they might show you beaming with pride next to your brand-new '64 Lotus Ford Cortina (the one with the green stripe). Or they might reveal family weddings at which the groom wore flares and platforms and the bride wore a worried smile.

Whatever they show, you'll want to preserve those memories.

All our transfers are carried out in-house on top-end software. We use a professional 'Transvideo' process for transferring our cine films. We do not copy from a projector. These machines are equipped with high-quality 'CCD' imaging technology, creating top quality results.

We examine the cine film for any defects or damage and if necessary, these sections are repaired.

We can add introductions and captions. We can add a soundtrack of your choice. But we always add our professional expertise, gained from more than 20 years' creative experience.

Our 8mm cine film transfer process is safe. It does not damage your film. Your project is handled with the utmost care throughout the transfer process and on completion all the original cine film, along with the finished DVD are returned to you.

This is a beautiful gift - perhaps for an older parent or even for you - that comes personally packaged in a DVD presentation case and wrap-around sleeve.

The costs above includes adding titles, cleaning the film, brightness and contrast adjustment, tone and colour correction, cutting and editing white leader film and blank sections.

We can also supply your cine films as AVI files free of charge if you wish to edit the footage yourself.

Send your 8mm cine films via ‘Royal Mail Recorded Delivery’ to our address below. Please make sure that your project is well packed in either a padded ‘Jiffy’ bag or a cardboard box. We recommend using ‘bubble-wrap’ for protection. Please enclose your name, address and telephone number.
